Job summary

Specsavers in Northallerton is hiring an Optical Assistant to join a friendly team. You’ll provide customer service, help customers select eyewear and auditory products, and learn from experienced Opticians and Technicians in a supportive environment.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with a weekend day included, and ongoing training to develop skills across optics and audiology. Expect a collaborative store atmosphere and opportunities to grow your career with Specsavers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers as they walk through our doors.
• Support customers with product information and recommendations in optics and hearing/wearable/audiology products.
