Job summary

Specsavers in Halifax is seeking an Optical Assistant to warmly welcome customers and provide help as they shop. The role includes ongoing training and support from experienced Opticians and Technicians to help you progress.

The position is full-time (37.5 hours) with weekend work required and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, pension enrollment, employee discounts, and wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in optics or Audiology is desirable.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in the store.
• Support the optical team with training and development opportunities.
• Based in Halifax with full-time hours; weekend work is essential.
