Inspired Selections Group in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a friendly Optical Assistant to join a family-run independent practice. You will welcome patients, assist with frame selection and provide personalised eyewear advice, while supporting dispensing and daily optical duties.

The role offers 37.5 hours per week, alternate Saturdays, and a salary of £25,500 per year. You’ll join a small team that values service excellence, patient relationships and opportunities for career development in

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months’ experience working within optics.
• Welcoming patients with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Ability to assist with frame selection and provide personalised advice.
• Support dispensing and day-to-day optical duties.
• Assist with appointments, collections and practice administration.
• Build lasting relationships with patients and maintain the practice’s reputation.
