Job summary

Inspired Selections Group is seeking an Optical Assistant in Sheffield. You will dispense to a broad patient base, perform pre-screening, assist with frame styling and lens selections, and support reception and admin tasks. The role offers a hands-on, autonomous opportunity within a supportive team.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months in optics, with a mix of clinical knowledge and customer-facing sales ability. A strong patient-focused approach and proactive teamwork are essential.

Salary: up to £30,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full time | 37.5 hours per week – No Sundays
Location: Sheffield

Important Requirement:

You must have a minimum of 12 months’ experience working within optics. Applications without this will not be considered.
