Job summary

Specsavers in Manchester is seeking a caring Optical Assistant with some optical experience to confidently welcome customers and support the team. We offer extensive training and development across business areas, plus the backing of experienced Opticians and Technicians.

This full-time position (32–40 hours) requires weekend work and provides a pension scheme, employee discounts, Headspace access, and other benefits to help you thrive and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Some optical experience is required or highly desirable.
• Must be a great team player and communicator.
• Confident in using IT systems and software.
• Adaptable and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in selecting eyewear.
• Support daily store operations and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with Opticians and Technicians to ensure smooth service.
