Job summary

Specsavers in Edinburgh is seeking an Optical Assistant to welcome customers and support dispensing processes in-store. You’ll bring a passion for the Specsavers brand, strong customer service, and a collaborative mindset to help create an outstanding store environment for customers and the team.

The role involves full-time hours over five days per week, including regular weekends. The store offers holiday allowance, pension contributions, sick pay, and employee support services.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our Store

Our store is located on Craigleith Road within Sainsburys supermarket in Edinburgh city centre, with free parking available and excellent public transport links.

What’s on offer?

• Full time: 5 days per week to include regular weekend working
• Part-time hours can be considered to include weekend working
• Salary: starting from £25,350 per annum DOE
• 28 days holiday plus your birthday off
