Job summary

Specsavers in Edinburgh is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our busy store. You’ll be the friendly face for customers, using your passion for the Specsavers brand and great service to create an outstanding environment for customers and colleagues.

The role requires experience in optics within a customer-facing retail setting and knowledge of optical terminology. We offer training, development opportunities and a variety of benefits, including parking and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics working in a customer-facing retail store environment.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

So, you're a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our store needs? Sounds like you'd be a great fit here. If you have current or previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you!

As an Optical Assistant, you'll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our Store

Based at Unit 34, Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, Edinburgh, we offer free parking and are close to the bus links. As well as being a busy and vibrant store, and with a refit due this year, we're an exciting place to be!

What we're looking for?
