Job summary

Specsavers in Bilston is seeking an Optical Assistant to warmly welcome customers and provide support with their eyewear choices. The role offers structured training and development, with experienced Opticians and Technicians available to guide you on your journey.

We provide a full-time schedule (37.5 hours) with weekend work essential (1 weekend off every 3 weeks) and benefits including free parking, friends and family discounts, and in-store staff discounts, plus a team bonus.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience required.
• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment would be beneficial.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in-store.
• Support Opticians and Technicians as needed.
• Participate in training and development programs.
