Job summary

Specsavers in the West Midlands is seeking an Optical Assistant who is caring and customer-focused to join our team. You will confidently welcome customers, assist with services, and develop your skills with ongoing training and support from experienced Opticians and Technicians.

The store offers both optical and audiology services, providing a varied and fast-paced environment where you can make a real difference to people's lives. Conveniently located with strong public transport links and free parking available nearby, the store is easily accessible for both colleagues and customers. There is some desirable experience that could set you apart from the competition if you have it. This includes:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
• Experience in optics or Audiology business
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology
• Currently studying optics or working towards an optical qualification would be highly advantageous
