Optegra Eye Healthcare in Maidstone seeks a scrub nurse to join our ophthalmic surgical team. You will provide skilled clinical and technical assistance in the operating theatre and may assist with peri-operative and post-operative care.

The role requires NMC/ODP registration, ophthalmology perioperative qualification, and at least one year theatre experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and funded development programs.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Qualification in Ophthalmology or Perioperative care.
• One year ophthalmology surgical theatre experience.
• IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Awareness of NMC Code of Conduct.
• Awareness of CQC standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as part of the operating theatre team.
• Assist with peri-operative and post-operative care as required.
• Anticipate the surgical team's needs by providing instruments and equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation for traceability.
