Optegra Eye Healthcare is seeking an experienced scrub nurse to join our dedicated team. You will provide skilled clinical and technical assistance in the operating theatre and may support peri-operative and post-operative care across the ophthalmic pathway.

The role offers fully funded training and development, a comprehensive benefits package, and a competitive salary up to £46,575 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Qualification in Ophthalmology or Perioperative care.
• One year or more ophthalmology surgical theatre experience.
• Computer and IT skills good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Awareness of responsibilities in relation to NMC Professional Code of Conduct.
• Awareness of CQC standards and requirements.

Responsabilités

• Participate in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway at Optegra.
• Provide excellent care to all patients as a member of the operating theatre team.
• May include peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite.
• Assist with minor operations.
