Optegra Eye Healthcare in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced scrub nurse to join our dedicated operating theatre team. You will provide skilled clinical and technical assistance across ophthalmic procedures, with peri-operative care as required.

Qualificações

• Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner.
• Current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions.
• Qualification in Ophthalmology or Perioperative care.
• One year ophthalmology surgical theatre experience.
• Computer and IT skills; Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Awareness of NMC Professional Code of Conduct and CQC standards.

Responsabilidades

• Carries out a full range of registered health care duties with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient’s condition.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by providing appropriate surgical instrumentation and equipment.
• Ensure correct disposal, decontamination and sterilisation of reusable equipment.
• Maintain complete traceability documentation for all procedures.
