Job summary

Greiner Group in Northern Ireland is recruiting for Operators to join our shift-based production teams. You’ll run production machinery from start-up to packaging, ensuring safety, cleanliness and high-quality output on every line.

You’ll work as part of a supportive team across day, late and weekend rotations, with a focus on dependable performance. No previous experience is required; we welcome learners who can communicate in English (B1+) and are committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and adapt to production processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English at B1 level or above.
• Commitment to safety and producing high quality products.
• Previous machine operation experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery from start-up to packaging.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and hygienic standards on the line.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency.
• Work as part of a shift team across various schedules as vacancies arise.

Job Overview As an Operator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our manufacturing lines running smoothly and efficiently. From start‑up to packaging, you’ll be hands‑on with our production machinery, working as part of a supportive, shift‑based team to hit output and efficiency targets.

You’ll take pride in producing high‑quality products, maintaining excellent standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene along the way. With a proactive mindset, you’ll also have the chance to get involved in continuous improvement activities, helping us refine our processes and achieve even better results together.

Your Profile We are looking for Operators, opportunities may be available across all shifts, subject to current vacancies.

No experience is necessary! We are looking for talented people who have a willingness to learn, who can communicate effectively in English at B1 level or above and adhere to our standards of protecting your own safety and that of others, whilst producing a high quality product.

Previous work experience of operating machines is desirable.

Two-week rotation (38 hour per week)

Week 1 - Early shift (39.5 hrs): Mon-Thu 06:54-15:00, Fri 06:54-14:00

Week 2 - Late shift (36.5 hrs): Mon-Thu 14:54-23:00, Fri 14:54-18:00

£528.9144 per week / £27,503.5488 per annum

Late Shift

Monday - Thursday 14:54-23:00

£450.96 per week / £23,450.22 per annum

Weekly Night Shift

Monday - Thurday 22:54-07:00
