Job summary

Oor Client is recruiting a full-time Production Operator to join the Manufacturing Team. The successful candidate will earn an hourly rate of £15.76 plus any shift premium and work a 4‑day, 10‑hour shift pattern.

Roles may include Days, Afternoons, Evenings and Nights with adequate notice, and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset is desirable. Key duties include operating production lines, assembling mechanical/electrical/electronic components, ensuring health and safety compliance, recording

Qualifications

• Understand Health & Safety requirements for the role and PPE usage.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
• Work effectively in a team within a complex production environment.
• Demonstrate proactive safety and quality practices on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day activities of the manufacturing team.
• Install mechanical, electrical or electronic products in a production environment.
• Operate within Health and Safety practices of the company.
• Record keeping, including serial numbers for As Built records.
• Adhere to SOPs / Work instructions and complete tasks safely with minimal supervision.
• Undertake additional duties as required and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Oor Client is a leading light in it's field and has a true dedication to it's workers. they look-out for full-time Production Operators to join our Manufacturing Team. The successful and inclusive candidate will earn a favourable hourly rate of £15.76 + any shift premium that applies to shift work. This role is based on a 4 day, 10 hour shift pattern and you may be required to work Days, Afternoons, Evenings and Night at any given time with adequate notice. This is an ideal role for someone who has a proactive and positive mindset and a keen desire to grow professionally.

Duties:

• Carry out day-to-day activities of the manufacturing team
• Installing mechanical, electrical or electronic products in a production environment
• Operate within Health and Safety practices of the company
• Record keeping, including recording of serial numbers to support "As Built" records
• Adhere to manufacturing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) / Work instructions
• Understand and comply with policies and, procedures carry out work in a safe and diligent manner with minimal supervision
• To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
• Participation as a member of continuous improvement initiatives

• Ability to work at heights and in restricted spaces
