Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited in Nuneaton is seeking an Operative to join our site team. You will be hands-on across production, dispatch and materials handling, reporting to the Site Manager, with safety at the forefront.

This full-time role operates on a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) and benefits from a supportive, forward-thinking culture with development opportunities and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Experience in production and dispatch environments.
• Good communication and numeracy.
• Mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Previous manual handling experience.

You’ll be hands-on across various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping — all while maintaining the highest safety standards in line with CRH and SHE protocols.This is a full-time role working on a rotating shift pattern of **6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am**.Due to the site’s location and shift times, having your own transport is highly recommended.---### **What You’ll Be Doing**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:* Achieving daily production targets* Recording and reporting quality data* Loading/unloading products from plant and vehicles* Ensuring accurate and timely dispatch to meet customer expectations* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site---### **What We’re Looking For**The ideal Operative will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a similar production and despatch environment.
