Veolia UK is recruiting for a site-based role at Alresford Household Waste Recycling Centre in Hampshire. The role involves assisting the public with waste disposal, maintaining health and safety, and promoting recycling across a busy site.

Responsibilities

• Assisting members of the public at the household recycling centre with waste and recycling disposal
• Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site.
• Ensure that materials on site are recycled as much as possible.
• Ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
• Operate the IT Tablet based booking system
• Trade waste control

Hours - Working across 7 days per week including bank holidays

You will have two regular weekdays off per week

Spring Hours 0845-1715

Summer Hours 0845-1815

Winter Hours 0845-1615
