Job summary

Veolia Group at Fair Oak is seeking staff to assist the public at the Household Waste Recycling Centre, handling waste and recycling disposal and helping keep the site safe.

You will operate the IT tablet booking system, support trade waste control, ensure materials are recycled, and leave the site clean. The role involves working across 7 days per week with two regular days off, with a listed hourly rate and Veolia benefits.

Responsibilities

• Assisting members of the public at the household recycling centre with waste and recycling disposal
• Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site
• Ensure that materials on site are recycled as much as possible
• Ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area
• Operate the IT Tablet based booking system
• Trade waste control
