Job summary

Veolia is recruiting for a site role at Alresford Household Waste Recycling Centre in Hampshire. You will support members of the public with waste disposal, uphold health and safety, promote recycling, and maintain a clean site while using a tablet booking system.

This role requires manual handling and outdoor work in all weather, with shifts across seven days and two regular days off weekly. Veolia supports training, pension benefits, and a range of employee wellbeing resources.

• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assisting members of the public at the household recycling centre with waste and recycling disposal.
• Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff and contractors at the site.
• Ensure that materials on site are recycled as much as possible.
• Ensure that the facility is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up before leaving the area.
• Operate the IT Tablet based booking system.
• Trade waste control.
