Job summary

Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in the United Kingdom is seeking a production/warehouse operative to support safe medical waste handling and paperwork accuracy. You will check in containers, weigh loads on the weighbridge, and operate a forklift to load materials and feed the autoclave.

You must work well in a team in a fast-paced environment, maintain documentation, and help keep the workspace clean. The role offers consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and a comprehensive employee benefits

What will you be doing?

• Checking in containers and checking paperwork
• Moving/unloading specific waste containers
• Operating a forklift to load an autoclave
• Weigh incoming sharps and regulated medical waste containers (using our Weighbridge)
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Lifting and pushing carts
• Provide attention to detail, especially with the paperwork required to process these items
• General housekeeping
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team because we are all about team work!

The ideal candidate will have experience in a production/warehouse environment with experience of working in afast pacedposition. Team work is a huge part of this role and you must be able tocommunicate well across the plant, and be able to support as needed.We are looking for an individual who likes variety in their work and can think through practical problems.
