Job summary

Sharpsmart, part of Daniels Health, is seeking an enthusiastic driver with a Class 1 license to service healthcare customers across our safe waste management network. You will collect, deliver and store containers, and provide excellent customer service.

Shifts run Monday to Friday nights with a 3–4 pm start, offering a competitive salary (£43,290 per annum) plus shift allowance and bonus. A safe work environment, PPE provisions, private healthcare and a broad benefits scheme accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving license with ADR (training available)
• Experience operating vehicles safely with manual elements
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship building
• Ability to load/unload and handle heavy items

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to the scheduled time and communicating changes or challenges
• Loading and unloading
• Managing a route per leadership direction
• Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting
• Overtime opportunities are available

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver with a Class 1 license and to utilize your experience with our healthcare customers.

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing our containers at customer locations
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner
• Completing deliveries to time schedule, and clearly communicating changes or challenges as they arise
• Loading and unloading
• Managing a route per leaderships direction | delivering timely, efficient and effective service
• Complying with regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections
• Heavy lifting
• Class 1 license with ADR (ADR Preferred - training can be provided for the right person)
• A flexible, can-do attitude with a strong customer focus
• Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner with a manual element
• On time delivery practices and the understanding of our essential service
