Job summary

Jobandtalent is recruiting a Team Leader for a leading food manufacturing and distribution company in Hatfield. You will supervise daily operations to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance in a fast-paced setting.

The role offers 06:00-18:00 shifts with a 4 on 4 off pattern and pays £16.45 per hour. You will oversee staff allocation, inductions and performance, ensure fleet safety and maintain records, while conducting risk assessments and identifying efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements include previous office or transport experience.
• Self-disciplined and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Basic maths skills and effective written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and legal compliance.
• Manage staff allocation, training, inductions and performance.
• Ensure driver compliance, vehicle safety and fleet maintenance.
• Maintain accurate operational records and audit documentation.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and incident investigations.
• Identify improvements to operational performance and service quality.
