HR GO Group is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader for an FMCG food manufacturing site in Bishops Stortford. The role is a contract position, covering shifts 4 days on and 4 days off, with an on-site base.

You will support the Shift Manager with day-to-day operations, people supervision, machinery, quality and safety to maintain production targets. You will lead on-hand supervision, drive continuous improvement, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years' experience in FMCG food manufacturing.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of food safety & H&S requirements.
• Able to interpret data to improve performance.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Shift Manager in supervising the shift team to achieve operational KPIs.
• Supervise and coordinate operatives to meet output, quality and food safety standards.
• Operate machinery and remain active on the shop floor as part of productions delivery.
• Monitor schedules, quality checks and equipment performance; take corrective action.
• Drive high standards of H&S, hygiene and housekeeping within a continuous improvement culture.
• Train, coach and support colleagues, promoting a positive team environment.
• Complete accurate shift reports and ensure effective handovers between shifts.
• Ensure materials are available in line with lead times and agreed specifications.
• Deputise for the Shift Manager and take full supervisory responsibility when required.
