Job summary

Staffline in Thrapston is seeking an experienced Team Manager to supervise a production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This full-time role is 40 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift, from 2pm to 10pm, with a salary of £35,000–£40,000 depending on experience.

• Experience supervising teams in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Ability to coach and manage performance.
• Capable of working at pace under pressure and prioritising.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team to meet daily KPI targets.
• Ensure food safety and GMP HACCP compliance.
• Champion health & safety on shift; risk assessments.
• Manage shift handovers, labour allocation and priorities.
• Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Complete line checks, audits and documentation (CCPs, traceability).
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Escalate issues and contribute to daily/weekly reviews.
