Achieve Recruitment is seeking an Operations Team Leader – Driver for a West Sussex community healthcare equipment service centre. The role blends hands-on delivery with day-to-day leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, customer‑focused service across the region.

You will lead Driver Technicians, oversee delivery, installation, repair and maintenance in homes, schools and hospitals, coordinating with the warehouse and customer services teams. This is a fast‑paced, service‑driven environment.

Formación

• Proven leadership in operations, logistics, delivery or field teams.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and route planning.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence (2+ years, up to 6 points).
• Confident IT user with experience of operational systems.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and compliance standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coach Driver Technicians, modelling professional standards and customer service.
• Oversee fleet compliance, maintenance schedules and vehicle checks.
• Conduct driver check-ins and assess performance and interaction.
• Deliver daily debriefs and close orders from the previous day.
• Run daily/weekly reports to monitor service performance.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Customer Services to meet SLAs.
• Support the Operations Manager during weekly briefs.
• Assist with scheduling, route planning and workload distribution.
• Act as first escalation point for driver issues and user concerns.
• Ensure health, safety, infection control and safeguarding compliance.
• Support onboarding and competency sign-off for new staff.
