Job summary

The role involves leading training, overseeing daily operations, recruiting drivers, and handling urgent customer requests, with potential overtime as needed. DBS and vaccination requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required (with max 6 points).
• DBS check required (enhanced).
• Vaccinations against Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Polio are mandatory.
• Experience leading a small team of drivers is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of drivers, guiding performance and productivity.
• Implement ongoing training for team members on products, processes and policies.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for the team and drive continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of new drivers.
• Respond to urgent customer requests as directed, including overtime when needed.
• Conduct induction training for new team members to ensure readiness.
• Provide performance feedback to individuals and management.
