Job summary

DHL Express Lincoln is seeking a Senior Courier to lead a frontline courier team, ensuring deliveries and collections are performed safely and to service standards. You will support and coordinate couriers while staying close to operations for hands-on assistance.

You will coach and develop staff, manage performance, and monitor KPIs to maintain high customer satisfaction. A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive operationally are required, with opportunities for leadership progression

Qualifications

• Experience in a courier or logistics/service centre environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage performance.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive operationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a designated team of couriers, ensuring daily tasks are completed effectively.
• Hold regular 1:1s, performance conversations and development reviews.
• Coach and motivate team members to achieve productivity and service KPIs.
• Address performance issues through coaching and structured processes.
• Deliver clear daily briefs and debriefs to keep the team aligned and engaged.
