Job description

Overview

As an Operations Team Lead, you will be an integral part of our branch frontline leadership team. Candidates must possess highly-developed communication skills and demonstrate strong leadership by leading and influencing through a positive example. Primary responsibilities include overseeing route drivers and deliveries to homes and businesses, improving productivity, and streamlining branch activities to maximize results and achieve peak performance.

Location: Bow, NH

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Saturdays dependent on business needs)

Start Time: Between 6 am - 7 am until workload is completed

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all branch operations to ensure efficient day-to-day activities.
  • Improve productivity and streamline branch processes to maximize results.
  • Support the team with decision-making, communication, problem-solving, conflict management, coaching, training new hires, and upselling techniques.
  • Ensure safety by operating vehicles responsibly, completing DOT documentation, following safe work practices, and taking ownership of personal and team safety.
  • Assist with daily branch closing activities, driver reviews, and team meetings as needed.
  • Lead the team to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching on effective upselling techniques.
  • Be available for route coverage and flexible work hours based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with the Operational Leader to develop strategies for improved customer service.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL license with airbrake endorsement is preferred.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (last 3 years) with no major offenses.
  • Must be 21 years or older (DOT requirement).
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI is preferred.
