The Team Leader role has responsibility for the operational oversight of Redthread’s delivery within Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, and any community work undertaken in the surrounding area. The role is to be part of the youth work team within Redthread with a primary focus on youth violence interventions in a health care setting. In this role, you will lead the Youth Violence Intervention Programme team at the hospital. The team supports young people aged 11-25 years old, who present to hospital following an incident of violence or for whom there are concerns around exploitation or extra-familial harm. You will have line management responsibility for the Youth Workers in the team, ensuring the service runs effectively for young people and also working with young people in the hospital as well as supporting them post-discharge to ensure they have the support they need and want.
