Overview

Operations Support Officer

Reports to: Head of Operations

Business Function/Sub-Function: Operations

Full time – Monday to Friday (on-site)

Location: NCR/GA

Salary: Up to £30,000 plus £2,000 on call allowance

The closing date for this position is 26 September 2025. Interviews are expected to take place around this time. However, the advert may close earlier if a high volume of suitable applications is received.

Role purpose

This role provides high-quality, flexible operational support to the Head of Operations across a wide range of core functions that ensure the smooth and effective running of Metanoia Institute. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Operations to deliver practical, logistical, and systems support in a dynamic environment, with responsibilities spanning estates, IT, facilities, health and safety, inventory, and events.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on, practical operational support across estates, IT, facilities, health and safety, inventory, and events.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations to deliver logistical and systems support to ensure the smooth functioning of a busy academic environment.
  • Proactively problem-solve, take initiative, and contribute to a wide range of operational tasks.
  • Assist with on-site activities and events as required.
