Job summary

Sky in the UK is seeking a senior learning and development leader to guide the studio's performance management and training strategy. You will lead recruitment, design delivery, establish mentoring, and align resources with production needs.

Hybrid role based in Osterley with access to Sky HQ amenities; you will partner with Technical Managers to stay ahead of industry trends and foster a high-performing, healthy team.

What you'll do

• Lead the studio's technical management team's recruitment, training and development strategy.

• Work closely with Technical Managers and the Senior Manager to ensure training aligns with evolving industry trends and technologies.

• Ensure open and effective communication, keeping the team informed and aligned with business goals.
• Advocate for health, wellbeing, and work-life balance, ensuring the team feels supported.

What you'll Bring

Essential criteria

• Experience in leading and developing teams, with a strong background in performance management.
• Experience within broadcast operations, with the ability to support both people growth and operational delivery.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven track record in people development, with a strong focus on training. A leader, able to empower and inspire a high-performing team.

How you'll work

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
