Job summary

Culina is seeking an Operations Support at the Harworth site to ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the technical function within the warehouse. You will work with 3rd parties, provide engineering solutions to the Picking and Packing team, and monitor all equipment to drive efficiency and reliability.

You will perform planned maintenance, inspections, and repairs with minimal disruption, report weekly on equipment status, and suggest equipment upgrades to meet current and future site

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and technical support.
• Ability to monitor and service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with 3rd parties on external systems.
• Assist Picking and Packing by providing Engineering solutions.
• Monitor machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and repairs with minimal disruption to schedules.
• Provide weekly reports to management on status of operational equipment.
• Proactively recommend equipment upgrades to meet site needs.
• Patching of Dumb Terminals and Printers; Label Printer setup and maintenance; Network patching of laptops and printers to pack benches.

Job description

Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support to join our friendly team at our Harworth site on a full time permanent basis!, The purpose of an Operations Support is to provide a knowledgeable, solutions-based approach to the Warehouse to ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical function on-site.,

• Work closely with 3rd parties on external systems.
• Assisting the Picking and Packing Team by providing Engineering solutions to assist in an Operational capacity.
• Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.
• Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.
• Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.
• Providing weekly reports to management team on status of operational equipment.
• Proactively make recommendations regarding the equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development., Patching of Dumb Terminals and Printers.
• Label Printer set-up and maintenance.
• Network patching of laptops and printer to pack benches.
• Systems/Peripheral Configuration.
• Local Control of IT Asset Management.
• General Troubleshooting and Fault Finding. Technical knowledge and experience in working with the following equipment is desirable:
• Checkweighers.
• Pallet wrapping m/c.
• Shrink wrapping.
• Various bespoke hand packing/labelling lines with printers.
• MCS.
• Printer Management.
• Device Management.
• Staff Maintenance (such as passwords and access levels).
