Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting an Operations Support for our Harworth site on a full-time basis. Salary is £28,366 per year, with 4 on 4 off days from 6am to 6pm.

The role focuses on maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and providing engineering solutions to support the warehouse team. You will monitor equipment, work with third parties on external systems, perform planned maintenance, and report on equipment status weekly.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of warehouse equipment including printers and label systems.
• Experience with IT asset management and device configuration.
• Ability to troubleshoot networks and patching of terminals and printers.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support to join our friendly team at our Harworth site on a full time permanent basis!

Salary:£28,366 per annum.

Working hours:4 on 4 off days, 6am-6pm.

The purpose of anOperations Support isto provide a knowledgeable, solutions-based approach to the Warehouse to ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical function on-site.

Key Duties of anOperations Support:

• Work closely with 3rd parties on external systems.
• Assisting the Picking and Packing Team by providing Engineering solutions to assist in an Operational capacity.
• Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.
• Carry out planned maintenance, inspections and complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.
• Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.
• Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.
• Providing weekly reports to management team on status of operational equipment.
• Proactively make recommendations regarding the equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development.

Qualifications

Technical knowledge and experience in working with the following equipment is desirable:

• Pallet wrapping m/c.
• Various bespoke hand packing/labelling lines with printers.
• MCS.
• Printer Management.
• Device Management.
• Staff Maintenance (such as passwords and access levels).

You will be expected to demonstrate competence in the following areas:

• Patching of Dumb Terminals and Printers.
• Label Printer set-up and maintenance.
• Network patching of laptops and printer to pack benches.
• Systems/Peripheral Configuration.
• Local Control of IT Asset Management.
• General Troubleshooting and Fault Finding.
