Job summary

Arvato in Corby is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a high-performing warehouse team. You will own day-to-day operations, drive performance, quality, and service targets, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will inspire and develop your team, manage resources to meet demand, and collaborate across functions to deliver exceptional logistics solutions for global brands.

Qualifications

• Experience supervisory role in warehouse, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong leadership and people management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse operational data and make informed decisions.
• Experience managing KPIs and delivering against SLAs.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. WMS/SAP experience advantageous.

Hours: Monday - Friday 40hours.

What you’ll be doing

As an Operations Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, ensuring performance, quality and service targets are consistently achieved. You’ll inspire and develop your team while promoting a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include

• Leading, coaching and developing a team to achieve operational KPIs.
• Ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are consistently met.
• Monitoring performance and implementing improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Managing resource planning to meet changing business demands.
• Driving a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Working collaboratively with Inventory, Quality, Customer Services and other support functions.
• Investigating operational issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Supporting employee engagement, performance management and colleague development.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• The ability to analyse operational data and make informed decisions.
• Experience managing KPIs and delivering against service level agreements.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (WMS/SAP experience is advantageous).
• A flexible and positive approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
