Operations Product Development Manager

Hybrid working - Central London

Travel to France 2-3 times a year

Our client is a world-famous luxury fragrance house with a rich history, recognized for creating exquisite artisan fragrances using natural ingredients and traditional methods. As one of the largest independent high-end luxury fragrance companies globally, our client has achieved remarkable growth and aims to double in size over the next three years.

About the Role

KJ Talent & Partners is exclusively hiring an Operations Product Development Manager to join our client’s talented London-based global team. You will work with your peers to deliver projects on time, reduce development lead times, mitigate risks, and ensure that cost, quality, and service standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global Marketing Team on new product briefs, focusing on design-to-cost, profitability, sustainability, and innovation
• Work with cross-functional partners throughout the NPD launch cycle
• Manage product launches and project development activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Prepare and monitor feasibility costs, cost of goods, and gross margin analysis in coordination with Finance (Procurement, Cost Control, Financial Management)
• Identify, assess, and manage risks related to timing, quality, and costs of NPD projects
• Optimize launch processes, tools, and procedures
• Act as custodian of the Stage Gate process

About you

• Over 4 years of project management experience, including launching global products with cross-functional teams
• Experience in developing products and packaging in the beauty industry (perfume, skincare, or makeup), especially for luxury markets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with strong relationship management and influencing skills
• Creative and innovative mindset
• Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in French is highly desirable
