Operations Product Development Manager

Hybrid working - Central London

Travel to France 2-3 times a year

Our client is a world-famous luxury fragrance house with a rich history, recognized for creating exquisite artisan fragrances using natural ingredients and traditional methods. As one of the largest independent players in high-end luxury fragrance globally, the company has achieved remarkable growth recently and aims to double in size over the next three years.

About the Role

KJ Talent & Partners is exclusively hiring an Operations Product Development Manager to join our client’s talented London-based global team. You will work to reduce development lead times, mitigate risks, manage costs, and ensure quality and service standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global Marketing Team on new product briefs, focusing on design-to-cost, profitability, sustainability, and innovation
• Work with cross-functional partners throughout the NPD launch cycle
• Manage product launches, project development, and activities to ensure timely and cost-effective launches
• Monitor Feasibility Costs, Cost of Goods, and Gross Margin Analysis in coordination with Finance
• Identify, assess, and manage risks related to timing, quality, and costs of NPD projects
• Optimize launch processes, tools, and procedures
• Serve as custodian of the Stage Gate process

About You

• Over 4 years of project management experience with global product launches involving cross-functional teams
• Experience in developing products and packaging within the beauty industry, especially in luxury perfume, skincare, or makeup
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with strong relationship management and influencing skills
• Creative and innovative mindset
• Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills; fluency in French is highly desirable
