Job summary

Symphony is seeking a motivated Business Operations Placement Student to join our university program in June 2027 for a 9-month placement in Belfast. You will gain hands-on experience in process improvement, project management, data analysis, and more as you support the operations team.

You will analyze business processes, help build regional sales strategies using AI, Salesforce and DOMO data, manage projects, track KPIs, and prepare reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program related to Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn about operational processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, G-Suite, and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Prior coursework or experience in business operations, project management, or process improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing business processes to identify opportunities for optimization and streamlining.
• Support the build out of regional sales strategies utilizing AI, Salesforce and DOMO data.
• Participate in project management tasks, including planning, coordination, and tracking progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and information for operational analysis.
• Support the operations team in creating reports, presentations, and documentation.
• Help in monitoring KPIs and presenting findings to management.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and organized records related to business operations.
