Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is offering an internship in Business Operations Performance Improvement at Filton. You will join a close-knit team supporting the Filton Plant including the A400M Wing and A350 projects, driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.

The role focuses on data analysis, dashboard creation, and cross-functional collaboration across Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance, with opportunities to lead or support improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only for the whole duration of the placement.
• Submit CV with a Cover Letter outlining motivation and suitability.
• Studying towards a degree in Business, Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate effective communication and ability to collate informative presentations.
• Confidence to lead sessions and present; interest in coding and digital tools.
• Desire to work in an open and trusting environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards using data analytics to track key operational metrics.
• Assist with regular business reporting requirements and data analysis.
• Lead or support ad-hoc improvement projects within the plant environment.
• Support daily activities and departmental efficiency along with the Business Improvement Manager.
• Analyze data to build business cases for AHPS reduction and cost savings.
• Assist with development and rollout of digital tools on the shop floor in line with AOS standards.
