Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited offers an exciting Production Support Internship at Filton, Bristol. You will join a close-knit team dedicated to improving safety, quality, cost, and environmental impact while implementing the Airbus Operating System (AOS).

You will help drive improvements, build key stakeholder networks, and support capital expenditure initiatives as part of a dynamic Operations environment.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Business, Engineering, a Technical field, or equivalent.
• The ability to communicate effectively.
• The ability to collate robust and informative presentations.
• The confidence to lead key sessions and present accordingly.
• An interest in coding and digital tools.
• A strong interest in self-development.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate projects where funding has been secured to drive work content reduction and performance improvements.
• Support Financial Capex submissions process through the application of funding to back new and innovative ideas.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor, working with Operations, manufacturing engineering and digital functions.
• Support local rate readiness with respect to tooling, equipment and facilities.
• Support the Head of Department with resource planning & strategic activities.
