Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the UK offers a 12.5‑month internship in the Single Aisle Structures cohort, based in the UK wing manufacturing area. The role focuses on data analysis, project work, and process improvements across production teams.

You will rotate through departments including A320neo and A350 equivalents, gaining broad exposure while developing your leadership and project management skills. Applicants must be undergraduates for the entire placement.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student for the full placement duration.
• Pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
• Experience working in teams and strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Google Sheets and Google Slides.

Responsibilities

• Assist in finance and budgeting tasks within the wing manufacturing project.
• Support lean initiatives to remove wastes and improve efficiency.
• Contribute to process improvements and project management.
• Assist with procurement tools and stock tracking using Click ‘n’ Buy.
• Support environmental health and safety related improvements.
