JJ Foodservice is hiring for an Operations Operative on the DayShift at our Bristol depot. This permanent role involves assisting the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations, with training provided and opportunities for progression.

Salary is £26,440 per year, with benefits and a strong team environment. The candidate will handle orders, stock, and manual handling tasks, requiring good English and the ability to lift and move items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual handling and lift/move products as required.
• Physically push/pull the trolley to carry items.

Operations Operative– DayShift

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

Salary: £26,440.00 per annum

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English

Responsibilities of the role:

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
• Store items safely in the correct location
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items
