Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking an Operations Operative for the Day Shift to join our warehouse team. The role involves preparing customer orders for loading onto lorries, storing items securely, and maintaining accurate stock.

You will perform manual handling and assist with daily warehouse operations in a busy environment. We offer a permanent contract, comprehensive training and progression opportunities, plus a benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Push/pull trolley and perform physical tasks to carry items.

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

Salary: £26,440.00per annum

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English

Responsibilities of the role:

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
• Store items safely in the correct location
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items
