Job summary

JJ Food Service Limited is seeking a dedicated warehouse operative for a full-time position with an 18:00–03:00 shift, 5 days per week. You will help ensure smooth warehouse operations, including order preparation and stock checks, in a role that offers training and clear progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders for loading onto lorries.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Check stock for damage or short-dated items and report.
• Manual handling and moving products as required.
• Push/pull trolleys to carry items.

Job description

The perfect candidate will work behind-the-scenes to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week, with hours from 18:00 to 03:00.

Salary: £26,440.00 per annum

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English

Responsibilities Of The Role

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
• Store items safely in the correct location
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items
