Job summary

JJ Foodservice is hiring an Operations Operative – Day Shift to join our warehouse team in Leeds on a permanent contract. You will help ensure smooth warehouse operation, process customer orders, and operate with safety and efficiency.

The role requires physical activity and the ability to lift, good English, and eligibility to work in the UK. Training is provided and there are opportunities for progression within our growing logistics operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent people skills and teamwork.
• Good communication skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Physically active due to heavy lifting.
• Good standard of spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items.

Operations Operative – DayShift

Salary: £26,440.00per annum

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent people skills, as well as being a great team player
• Good communication skills
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK
• A physically active nature (due to heavy lifting)
• A good standard of spoken English

Responsibilities of the role:

• Preparing customer orders that will be loaded onto our lorries
