Royal Navy Museums (RNM) invites applications for an Operations Manager at Naval Aviation, Yeovilton. This role leads the Visitor Experience team, shapes day-to-day operations, and collaborates with site leaders to deliver safe, engaging visitor experiences.

You will oversee health, safety, security, and resource use while developing a confident leadership team that can achieve its goals. The post is permanent and based on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in tourism, heritage or customer-focused environments.
• Strong people-management experience is essential.
• Understanding of retail and catering operations; EPOS systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Visitor Experience team and provide operational leadership across the site.
• Turn priorities into clear day-to-day plans and actions, in collaboration with managers.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and site security.
• Support rota planning and resource deployment to deliver excellent visitor service.
• Act as a First Aider and drive consistent, safe customer experiences.
