Job summary

Evri is seeking an Operations Manager Nights for the Airdrie depot. You will lead the night operation, overseeing warehouse, transport and van network performance.

Role requires managing five nights out of seven (roughly 22:00–09:00), driving efficiency, safety and budget adherence while partnering with Hubs, Transport and Delivery teams to deliver end-to-end service and develop your team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large teams in a 24/7 logistics or operational environment.
• Full UK driving licence with CPC certification and IOSH Managing Safely.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with good problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the depot operational plan in line with budget and targets.
• Drive productivity and manage costs including labour and resources.
• Maintain high standards through 5S, H&S and quality audits.
• Ensure high scanning compliance across inbound, outbound and driver ops.

The Role

As anOperations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our night operation, leading warehouse, transport, and van network performance. Working any 5 nights over 7 (typically22:00 – 09:00, depending on volumes), you’ll ensure the depot runs efficiently, safely, and on budget.

You’ll partner closely with Hubs, Transport, and Delivery teams to deliver an end-to-end service, while supporting and deputising for the Depot General Manager. From managing costs and driving productivity, to developing your team and ensuring compliance—you’ll have the autonomy to make a real difference every shift.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the depot operational plan in line with budget, forecasted volumes, and performance targets
• Drive productivity and manage costs including labour, resource planning, and cost-per-unit (CPU)
• Maintain high operational standards through compliance with 5S, H&S, and quality audits
• Ensure high scanning compliance across inbound, outbound, and driver operations
• Support transport compliance including driver rotas and Working Time Directive adherence
• Lead and develop your team across recruitment, performance, engagement, and employee relations

• Proven experience managing large teams in a24/7 fast-paced logistics or operational environment
• Strong understanding oftransport regulations, SLAs, and operational processes

• Excellent leadership, communication, and people development skills
• Resilience, commercial awareness, and the ability to perform under pressure
