Job summary

Vivo Defence is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure timely delivery of billable works at Kineton. You will oversee maintenance and response works, manage contractors, and record tasks in the CAFM system while monitoring safety, quality and value for money.

60% office-based reporting to DIO and Built Estate Manager and 40% on-site checks form the core of the role. Strong IT, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills are essential, with experience in commercial contractor

Qualifications

• Experience delivering small works projects, planning, directing and controlling activities with scope prioritization.
• Strong IT skills and excellent communication, meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem solving.
• Experience managing contractors in a commercial environment (not domestic).

Responsibilities

• Oversee timely delivery of billable works and record tasks in the CAFM system.
• Monitor supply chain delivery, value for money, quality and safety, ensuring KPI targets.
• Review risk assessments, MSs and site risk registers; notify management of defects.
• Balance 60% office-based reporting to DIO and Built Estate Manager with 40% on-site checks.
