Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee children’s care homes across central England. You will ensure high-quality services, ensure Ofsted compliance, and safeguard standards.

The role requires strong leadership, Ofsted knowledge, and experience managing residential children’s services; you will lead staff, manage budgets, liaise with agencies, and help shape a brand-new, high-quality service. Salary £65,000–£70,000 per annum, monthly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing childrens' homes or similar settings.
• Extensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards for childrens' services.
• Ability to act as the Responsible Individual with strong legal and ethical responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, including inspections and addressing recommendations.
• Act as the Responsible Individual, providing leadership and staff guidance.
• Develop and implement policies to promote welfare and development of children in care.
• Manage budgets, resources and staff schedules for efficient operation.
• Liaise with external agencies, parents and stakeholders for cohesive care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate care quality and implement improvements.
• Provide training and support to staff to maintain a professional environment.
