Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of care homes, ensuring quality, compliance and commercial sustainability while maintaining high standards of care.

The role requires a nursing background (PIN acceptable), multi-site management, and strong CQC knowledge. You will lead Home Managers across sites, drive improvements and work with senior leadership to enhance group performance.

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of care homes, with responsibility for quality, compliance, operational performance and commercial sustainability .

This is not purely a quality role. We need someone who understands what excellent care looks like but can also confidently manage performance, costs, occupancy and overall business effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership across multiple care homes.

Support, challenge and develop Home Managers.

Drive improvements in quality, compliance and CQC performance.

Monitor operational and financial performance.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Home Manager , ideally within a nursing home.

A nursing background – current or previous registration accepted.

Multi-site or regional management experience.

Strong CQC, quality and compliance knowledge.

A proven track record of improving care services.

Strong commercial and financial awareness.

Experience managing and supporting Home Managers.

The confidence to challenge, improve and hold people accountable.
