PrixCar Services in Netley (SAPOL site) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimise day-to-day operations, ensuring delivery of contractual KPI’s while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

You will drive improvements across production, yard services, labour planning, quality systems, and cost control, build high-performing teams, and nurture a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an Operations Manager role or similar.
• Inspirational leader with a passion for effective processing operations, HSEQ & service delivery.
• Engage with team at all levels to achieve KPIs and efficiencies.
• Experience in automotive industry with technical acumen is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Organising planning, leading and control of all production and yard services to meet customer needs and labour requirements.
• Coordinate all aspects of the SAPOL account to ensure revenue capture and expense control.
• Manage contract terms, conditions and KPI performance.
• Develop SAPOL account and personnel in line with company strategy.
• Identify and implement changes to raise safety, service and performance standards.
• Manage labour efficiency, utilisation, costs and containment to budget.
• Oversee site administration, production and sub-contractor functions.
• Coordinate calibration records and arrange re-testing/calibration as required.
• Supervise parts store operations to maintain stock levels and quarantine defective parts.
• Ensure Prixcar Quality System and total quality management are understood and applied.
• Promote a culture of continuous service improvement and quality principles.
• Support quality audits and incident investigations with corrective actions where needed.
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment.

PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage. Our company is a well-established player in the automotive industry, known for our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Manager to join the team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of operational excellence. Leading the operations, developing and implementing a range of customer and business initiatives designed to successfully deliver contracted KPI’s, whilst ensuring our facilities continue to operate under a safe and compliant environment.

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our Netley operations based at our SAPOL site.

What You Will Do

• Organising the planning, leading and control of all production and yard operational services and effectively matching and controlling labour requirements to effectively meet the customer needs;
• Coordinate all aspects of the SAPOL account to ensure that all revenue is captured, expenses controlled;
• Managing the contract terms, conditions and performance to KPI commitment;
• To develop the SAPOL account and personnel in line with established company strategy;
• Identifying and implementing changes in the operational function to raise standards of safety, service and performance;
• Effective management of labour efficiency and utilisation, cost and containment to budget levels;
• Effective management of site administration, production and sub-contractor functions;
• Coordinating the review of measuring equipment calibration records and arranging for re-testing/calibration as required;
• Supervise the operation of the parts store to ensure adequate stock levels and quarantine of defective parts;
• Ensure Prixcar’s Quality System and total quality management is implemented and understood for all aspects of service, workmanship, procedures, work instructions and conformance to company standards;
• Promote a continuously improving service culture within the branch and implement quality principles;
• Perform or assist with quality audits and incident investigations and implement any corrective actions where necessary;
• Promoting and ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.

What You Will Bring
