Job summary

Motorclean Ltd is seeking an accomplished Head of Operations to lead service delivery across a regional portfolio of automotive partners. You will be visible in the field and work closely with a Director to drive performance across customer service, people, compliance and profitability.

As a senior operational leader, you will coach Area and regional managers, implement robust governance, and mobilise new business safely and profitably while continually raising standards of delivery and customer

Motorclean is seeking an accomplished, commercially focused Head of Operations to lead service delivery across a regional portfolio of automotive partners. This is a high-impact opportunity to set the standard for operational excellence, develop talented leaders and turn performance insight into measurable results.

Working closely with a Director, you will own regional performance across customer service, people, compliance, profitability and new-business mobilisation. You will be visible in the field, trusted by clients and confident making decisions that improve both day-to-day delivery and long-term growth.

We are seeking experienced operational leaders with a proven track record of managing multi-site operations, delivering business performance, and leading large teams.

What you'll be doing

• Lead service delivery across the region, setting clear expectations and ensuring customer feedback becomes visible, owned action.
• Identify underperforming locations quickly, agree practical recovery plans and maintain momentum through disciplined follow-up.
• Conduct targeted audits and raise operational standards consistently across dealership sites.
• Build trusted relationships with dealership leaders through structured reviews, meaningful reporting and proactive communication.
• Mobilise new business safely, compliantly and profitably—from risk assessment and equipment to systems, training and launch support.

People leadership

• Coach and empower Area Managers and regional managers, partnering with HR and Learning & Development to unlock their potential.
• Create robust succession plans and a strong pipeline of future leaders.
• Set clear goals, hold regular performance conversations and address underperformance fairly and decisively.
• Oversee workforce productivity, appraisals and effective holiday planning.
• Build an ambitious, inclusive and accountable culture where communication is clear and great work is recognised.
• Attract and retain capable managers who can grow with the business.

What you'll bring

• Proven senior leadership experience across a multi-site operation, ideally in automotive, retail, facilities management or another service-led environment.
• A track record of improving operational performance, commercial results, compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Strong coaching and people-management capability, including confident handling of underperformance and succession planning.
• Commercial acumen and the ability to turn complex data into clear priorities and decisive action.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the credibility to influence senior clients and internal teams.
• A practical, visible leadership style and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
